A Versatile Sky Blue Rug

One advantage of choosing a sky blue rug for your living room, bedroom or den is that goes with just about any other color. However, black, white, yellow and beige are especially good matches, as are other darker shades of blue. You may have decided on the right color of rug, but choosing the right size can be more challenging. You don’t want a rug that’s too large as it will simply dominate the room, and a rug that’s too small for the room just won’t look right. A space of a couple of feet between the edge of the rug and the walls is generally recommended. If the blue rug is for a dining room, it should be large enough to accommodate the tables and chairs when pulled out. Furniture that is half on and half off a rug just doesn’t usually look good.
