One Of Florida’s Largest Flea Markets

The popular Waldo flea market started out as a 40 acre site back in the 1980s, and since then has expanded to 50 acres, with around 900 vendors. The sprawling site located in the centre of Florida also boasts a separate 20,000 square feet antique mall. Every weekend, around 20,000 bargain hunters visit Florida’s largest flea market in search of used books, collectibles, sporting memorabilia, vintage clothing and old pieces of furniture. The market has helped to put the small rural town of Waldo firmly on the map, and has become one of the most popular in the state, as well as the largest. All good flea markets offer a selection of food and Waldo is no exception, with vendors selling baked goods and fast food. If you’re bargain hunting here, the market is open at the weekends at about 8am and closes around 4pm.
