Shrimp Chow Mein is delicious and easy to prepare. The main ingredients are shrimp, pre-cooked noodles, fresh vegetables, and soy sauce. Typically, people use carrots, bean sprouts, onion, and celery. Other options include bell pepper, snow peas, cabbage, and broccoli. Add a half tablespoon of oil to a heated pan, stir in chopped vegetables and cook for 3 to 5 minutes and transfer to a plate. Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper to taste and a half tablespoon of oil to the pan and cook 3 minutes. Next, stir in the cooked vegetables and noodles and stir 1 to 2 minutes. In a small bowl, mix the fourth cup of soy sauce, one teaspoon each of honey, ginger, chopped garlic, and sesame oil and pour over shrimp mixture. For color add a fourth cup of chopped green onions and cook for 1 or 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
