We’ve been hearing about weighted blankets for a while now and most of us are well-versed in the benefits of sleeping with one. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s a blanket that is weighed down with heavier materials so you feel like you are being hugged when you snuggle into it. Some of the benefits of using one include stress relief, improved sleep, relief of sleep apnea, relief of anxiety and help for sore muscles.

Using a weighted blanket sore muscles is very beneficial as it puts pressure on sore spots which almost feel like a massage. When you feel stiff or sore, crawl into bed with one of these blankets on top of you and you’ll wake up feeling relief from the pain. You may have to do this for a few nights or even a few weeks but it’ll be worth it. Plus, look at all the other benefits you could be reaping just by adding a bit of weight to your sleeping arrangements.
