House slippers are especially important to people who suffer from diabetes. At all times when awake and moving about the home, their feet should be covered and protected from injury. The slippers are equipped with soles coming in a thickness that should protect the average foot from sharp objects such as broken glass, sew pins or needles that may be caught in the carpet or floorboards of a wood floor.

The slippers can serve two purposes, they can be warm and cozy on a cold winter’s day and well as soft comfortable. Many times, when these slippers get dirty from repeated use, they can simply be tossed into the washing machine and cleaned. They should always be set out to dry and never placed in the dryer.

This process of wearing the slippers daily and washing them occasionally when they become soiled will give you well cared for feet that are healthy.
