Chicken Bellagio is a chicken and pasta dish that originated at the Cheesecake Factory, a restaurant chain in the United States. Bellagio is also the name of a small village in Italy as well as a casino in Las Vegas; in short the name refers to beauty and refers to the way this dish is presented.
It consists of a piece of fried crispy chicken served on a pile of buttered noodles and is topped with creamy parmesan sauce, rocket salad and slices of proscuttio. The dish is usually made with a chicken breast that has been crumbed and fried in olive oil. The buttered noodles are simply spaghetti that has been boiled and then combined with the oil used to fry the chicken and butter.
