One of the essential things about puppy play is that it is all about consent. If you act as the puppy, you should only do so with someone who has given you their explicit and enthusiastic consent. The same goes for if you oversee the puppy.
Puppy play should only be done with someone comfortable with the idea and willing to participate.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that puppy play is not about actual animals. While it may involve dressing up in animal-like clothing and acting like a dog, it is not about actual animals. Puppy play is a form of role-playing between consenting adults. If you are uncomfortable acting like an animal, then puppy play is probably not for you. So, will you be willing to jump on it if it ticks the boxes for you? I’m pretty convince it will be an activity you’ll cherish for a long time.
