Disc profiling assessment is a tool used to assess an individual’s behavior and personality traits. Disc profiling was developed by psychologist William Moulton Marston based on his research into human behavior and psychology. The acronym “DISC” stands for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance.

Each of these four personality types has its own strengths and weaknesses which can be identified through a disc profile assessment. For example, someone who is high in dominance may be strong-willed but also have difficulty compromising or communicating effectively with others. On the other hand, those who are high in influence may excel at networking or sales but lack the focus to complete tasks on their own. Those who are higher in steadiness tend to be reliable team players while those higher in compliance often have strong attention to detail but lack creativity or initiative when it comes to problem solving.

Disc profiling assessments can help people identify areas they need to work on as well as recognize strengths they may not have been aware of beforehand.
